About Street Address Placeholder
Sometimes we need to add some custom fields in the Billing and Shipping address and for this we are using multiple street address fields. But if you are adding multiple street address fields there is no placeholder on these text box and user get confused what we have to fill in which text box.
To overcome this issue you can use Street Address Placeholder extension. This Extension helps you to add placeholder(s) on each street address field for frontend on address and checkout form(s). Using this extension you can easily add placeholder(s) checkout / my account street address fields as per your requirement. You can add as many placeholder as you want.

NOTE: For multiple street address fields you have to set default magento provided to multiple field in street address. Goto Store >> Configuration >> Customers >> Customer Configuration >> Name and Address Options >> Number of Lines in a Street Address.
Your magento 2 extensions can be installed in a few minutes by going through these following steps
Step 1: Download/purchase the extension
Step 2: Unzip the file in a temporary directory
Step 3: Paste “StreetAddress” folder into MagentoRoot/app/code/Doyenhub directory.
Step 4: Disable the cache under System >> Cache Management
Step 5: Enter the following at the command line to setup extension:
bin/magento module:enable Doyenhub_StreetAddress –clear-static-content
Note: Clear the store cache, clear your browser cache, domain cookies, and refresh the page.
If you change theme from admin you have to remove pub/static and re-deploy pub/static.
Enter the following at the command line to setup extension:
bin/magento module:disable Doyenhub_StreetAddress –clear-static-content
1. Go to, Store >> Configuration >> DOYENHUB >> Street Address Settings
Enabled Yes/No (Select ‘Yes’ to enable the extension) Placeholder Text Enter pipe ‘ | ‘ separated placeholder’s
